FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A former state youngster welfare employee and substance abuse counselor have pleaded responsible to collaborating in a bribery scheme in South Florida.

In response to courtroom paperwork, Alexandra Cadet and Shannel Escoffery pleaded responsible to racketeering conspiracy in federal courtroom in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday.

In response to courtroom paperwork, Cadet was a licensing specialist within the Florida Division of Youngsters and Households’ Workplace of Substance Abuse and Psychological Well being.

Escoffery was a marketing consultant who helped put together and submit license purposes to DCF.
